Our PCB decontamination Process destroys the Toxic Nature of the PCB Molecule, leaving a non toxic, sodium salt type waste, which, at an additional cost, can be further separated from the oil and water to allow the oil to be re-processed to meet the international standards for NEW OIL i.e. IEC 296, BS 148. UNLIKE the regular 'Waste Disposal' companies that dispose of PCB contaminated transformer oil in either 'Landfill sites' (which we consider is not disposal but, in fact, LONG TERM STORAGE) or 'Incineration', which destroys thousands of liters of good oil to dispose of a FEW LITRES OF PCB. With incineration, there is also the problem (as was discovered in the USA at great cost), that unscrupulous incineration facilities, that do not achieve the required temperature, or residence times, to prevent the release of Dioxins (which is 500 times more toxic than PCB's), were creating a far greater threat to man and environment.
